CBS News reports that two of the guns that were found at the scene of the fatal shooting in Sinaloa, Mexico last month can be traced to Fast and Furious exchanges, as one was purchased by an American agent involved in the case and another was brought in by a suspect.

Noah Pozner Site: Scammer preys on Sandy Hook victim's families setting up fake donation website
Someone they didn't know was soliciting donations in Noah's memory, claiming that they'd send any cards, packages and money collected to his parents and siblings.
An official-looking website had been set up, with Noah's name as the address, even including petitions on gun control.
Noah's uncle, Alexis Haller, called on law enforcement authorities to seek out ‘these despicable people.’

The Central Java Health Agency says it has received a report of a suspected case of bird flu in the province.
The 54-year-old man, a resident of the Sambiroto subdistrict, was currently under treatment at St. Elisabeth Hospital in Semarang, officials said.

Marc Krause, of Raritan Borough, filed a legal complaint in Somerville against IPC International Corporation, a security vendor, and General Growth Properties, owner of Bridgewater Commons. The complaint was filed on Dec. 10 by attorney Brian Cige in New Jersey Superior Court in Somerville.
Krause had worked at the mall since April 2001 while it was still owned by Rouse Company, and remained employed in 2003 when General Growth Properties took over mall ownership.
"The plaintiff was not a mall employee, but rather an employee of the mall's security vendor," according to David Keating, vice president of corporate communications for GGP. He said he could not comment further on pending litigation.
The complaint contends that GGP was the decision maker for Krause's hiring and firing, and therefore his 'de-facto co-employer.'
On May 19 while at work at the mall, Krause noticed a woman, who he found out later was Muslim, wearing a Hijab and mistakenly requested she remove the head covering, believing it was against the mall's 'no mask' policy, the complaint said.
The woman filed a report with Bridgewater Police and later filed a civilian harassment complaint with the Bridgewater Municipal Court, which was later dropped, the complaint said.
Krause, who is classified as having borderline intellectual functioning, or below-average cognitive ability, had no prior disciplinary actions against him, had been commended for his work, and both IPC and GGP were aware of the disability, the complaint said. He came to work at the mall as a client of the Bridges to Employment program of the Raritan-based Alternatives, Inc., the complaint said.
Krause later learned that there were exceptions for wearing religious garb in the mall, and was he was given cultural retraining on May 22, but was not allowed to return to work after the incident, the complaint said. The complaint contends that the employers' actions were motivated by their perception of his disability.
Krause was offered a security position at IPC's West Windsor location, but when he discovered he would be working alone, and that it was a much longer commute, he found the offer to be unacceptable, the complaint said.
IPC transferred Krause to West Windsor anyway, so Krause told IPC he would have no choice but to file for unemployment benefits unless it allowed him to return to Bridgewater Commons, which it did not, the complaint said.
The lawsuit is seeking Krause's reinstatement to his previous position at Bridgewater Commons, economic and compensatory damages, non-economic damages for pain and suffering, and attorney costs, with a trial by jury, the complaint said.
"We're really at the very beginning of the lawsuit," Cige said.
No court dates have yet been set, Cige said.

About 250 officers from all over New England gathered at the Burlington Mall before sunrise to take part in a ride to Virginia.
They went as a group to visit six-year-old Nathan Norman, a young boy in Rustburg, Virginia who is fighting brain cancer.
Nathan’s Christmas wish is to receive cards from police and fire departments.
The officers are not only granting his wish, they’re taking it one step further by the delivering the cards to Nathan and his family in person.

Originally, CMPD officers had charged Stukes and his entourage with conspiracy, attempted armed robbery, and discharging a weapon — charges that were later dropped due to lack of evidence.
Yesterday, a Mecklenburg County civil jury ruled in favor of Stukes, and awarded him $501,000 in punititive damages — to be paid by Mizay Entertainment. The Entertainment company manages Waka Flocka, and is ultimately liable for the security guards actions.

A bill filed in the state House of Representatives would allow school employees with a concealed weapons permit to bring a firearm on to campus.
The bill, filed by Florence Republican Rep. Phillip Lowe, would allow employees to bring the weapons provided they keep them concealed when not in use and provided they give a written notification to the principal of the particular school where the weapon will be carried.Other regulations in the bill include using only "frangible bullets" to prevent ricochets, completing biennial certification courses by SLED, and showing no history of violence by the worker's employer.
The bill is only one of many bills filed in State Houses around the country following the deadly shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut that killed 20 students between the ages of 6 and 7 and six faculty members were killed by a 20-year-old gunman. Debate on the bill will begin in the January 2013 legislative session.

The port also approved a contract to upgrade its closed circuit camera system, worth up to $371,450, with GSA Security Inc. of Lutz. The money is from a Federal Emergency Management Agency grant.
Up to $192,318 more in port funds was authorized separately for GSA Security to work on the camera system.
Another FEMA grant also will allow the port to spend up to $257,188 to purchase and equip five security vehicles.
Mark Dubina, the port’s security director, said new vehicles are long overdue, and should price out to about $40,000 each, rather than the authorized amount of more than $51,000 per vehicle.
'Nike hat bank robber' pleads guilty to 14 heists www.privateofficer.com
A 42-year-old man known as the infamous "Nike hat bank robber" pleaded guilty to 14 bank robberies in Charleston court on Wednesday, almost a year after he was caught "red-handed" in Georgetown by a police investigator and an off-duty State Law Enforcement Division agent.
A release from the United States Attorney's Office states Wesley Todd McCracken, from Myrtle Beach, pleaded guilty to the bank robberies which occurred in six different states. Evidence presented at the hearing established that McCracken began his robbery spree on Oct. 24, 2011, when he robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Florence, South Carolina. Over the next three months, he robbed 13 other banks in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and Pennsylvania.
During the robberies, McCracken wore little in the way of a disguise except for a navy Nike baseball-style cap. He used a similar method in virtually all of the robberies. After entering the bank he would hand the teller a note demanding cash in certain amounts or denominations while warning against giving him bait money or dye packs. Although McCracken never displayed any weapon, his notes usually stated that he had a gun.
McCracken was caught on Dec. 29, 2011, after robbing the South Carolina Bank and Trust at 1134 North Fraser Street in Georgetown.
According to Georgetown Police Chief Paul Gardner, an unarmed McCracken walked into the bank around noon and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller then gave him a bag of money containing a dye pack.
Right around that time, the chief said Investigator Ricky Floyd, then on medical leave, and off-duty SLED Agent Rhett Holden were driving by the bank when they noticed McCracken running from the bank.
The law enforcers said they became suspicious, and then the red dye pack in the big exploded, causing a mist of red to fly through the air.
The duo then turned around and headed back towards McCracken, tracking him towards the parking lot of Ryan's Family Restaurant, where they found the suspect sitting in a locked car.
Holden and Floyd then approached the vehicle. Holden was carrying a gun and ordered McCracken out of the car at gunpoint, police said.
After his arrest, McCracken admitted to all of the bank robberies after being shown bank security camera photos from each of the robberies.
The maximum penalty McCracken can receive for each bank robbery is a fine of $250,000 and imprisonment for 20 years. He will be sentenced after a judge has reviewed a pre-sentence report prepared by the United States Probation Office.
The case was investigated by agents of the FBI and various local law enforcement agencies. Assistant United States Attorney Alston C. Badger of the Charleston office handled the case.

Teen arrested in brutal attack on security officer www.privateofficer.com
The attack happened on Oct. 14 at a site located just south of Pitt River Middle School. Police say security guard Hoshiar Bajwa, 64, was assaulted while on duty by a group of three assailants who beat him with a steel pipe.
The teen suspect, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault in connection with the attack. No other charges have been laid, but police are continuing to investigate.
“We are still examining other pieces of evidence,” said Corporal Jamie Chung in a statement. “We are urging anyone with information, no matter how trivial you think it is, to come forward. It could be just the bit of information we need to bring those responsible to justice.”

Down to -50C: Russians freeze to death as strongest-in-decades winter hits
The country has not witnessed such a long cold spell since 1938, meteorologists said, with temperatures 10 to 15 degrees lower than the seasonal norm all over Russia.
Across the country, 45 people have died due to the cold, and 266 have been taken to hospitals. In total, 542 people were injured due to the freezing temperatures, RIA Novosti reported.
